Idido
Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia
The Idido cooperative is located just east of the small, bustling town of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. The coffees from this region are known for their sweet and delicate flavors. Idido’s members’ farms are situated throughout seven communities in some of the highest-altitude coffee-growing areas in the region. We’ve been purchasing coffee from the cooperative since 2011 and every year it is one of our favorites. Look for floral, melon, and citrus notes.
NPR Subscriber Exclusive: La Golondrina Microlot
Timbio, Colombia
The Orgánica cooperative in the region of Cauca, Colombia, has been the producer partners behind our La Golondrina offering since 2007. Over the years, they have put tremendous resources into both strengthening their organization and diversifying the quality of their coffee. This microlot is made of unique varieties––Gesha, Bourbon, Caturra, and Tabi––known for being higher quality and more difficult to manage agronomically. The resulting coffee has flavors of green grape, citrus, and nougat.
Your credit card will be billed per shipment. Subscriptions begin the next business day after they are received.
